Southsea Marina, located in the sheltered Langstone Harbour, is the ideal starting point for bass fishing trips around Portsmouth, the Solent, and beyond to the Isle of Wight. There is free parking for charter clients and a cafe on site which is open from 8am.

Dotty is a luxury sport fishing boat specialising in lure fishing for bass at the offshore banks east and south of the Isle of Wight, and the Solent. She is located in Southsea Marina in Langstone Harbour where there is free parking for charter clients.
We take groups of up to 6 people at a time. Once onboard the fishing will often start within just a few minutes as at the very entrance to the marina, large shoals of feeding bass will often be found underneath the working terns and gulls, all feeding on the masses of baitfish that seek sanctuary in the harbour....or cast a fly for the mullet in the shallows.
The fishing will then continue either within The Solent or even further offshore on the banks and reefs towards the Isle of Wight. These offshore marks are well within range of our super-fast, comfortable boat.
We can offer the angler a variety of fishing options for our most popular fish to target the predatory European Sea Bass, lure casting, deep water jigging or fly fishing and even changing over to blue fin tuna (if they turn up!).
For lure fishing you can bring your own tackle or we are happy to offer customers the use of our tackle and lures.
We can even feed you if required with our spectacular seafood or cheese platters direct from our shop.
